This is your traditional African safari. A journey to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Have you imagined walking in the company of the Maasai? This safari will give you that and so much more.
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by your guide who will be with you throughout the trip and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Get a good night’s sleep as your classic Tanzania Safari will begin in the morning.
After an early morning breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel/lodge lobby and head out to Tarangire National Park. This park is known as the quintessence of old Africa. Because of its intriguing atmosphere. Tarangire is home to large elephant herds, lions, leopard, impala, vervet monkeys, grants gazelle to name a few. Also, while out there, keep an eye out for over 300 bird species.
Full day game drives to explore the park. The wildlife in this park is excellent and the park presents unmatched photography opportunities to all its visitors.
After the day, head back to your lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight.
The Serengeti – a dream! This park offers dramatic game viewing opportunities and you get a chance to spend two nights in this magical place. Transfer to Serengeti after breakfast and upon arrival do a game drive to feast your eyes upon great wildlife residents.
Later check in at your hotel/lodge, dinner and overnight.
On this day, you get to journey deeper into the national park. It is a fact that within minutes in the Serengeti, you could see hundred elephants, wildebeest, zebra, cheetahs and impalas. Depending on season of travel, perhaps you will witness the great wildebeest migration.
The migration is hard to predict; however, Kikuya Tours will assure you of unlimited game viewing.
In the early morning, transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area. The adventure already starts with a drive down the steep valley (about 600m) to the crater floor. The crater is home to incredible sightings including the rarer black rhinos. You will spend the entire day in the conservation area with a packed lunch then later return to lodge for dinner and overnight.
Today, your magical safari comes to an end. There’s an option to do one last game drive to bid the park good-bye, just one last chance to view the African bush. Then transfer to Arusha for your flight onward.
