There is nothing more memorable than standing face to face with the World’s largest Apes. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. Please note: You can add an extra day or fly in instead and get to experience the trails of bwindi. A nature walk from one sector of the forest to another (Buhoma to Nkuringo). It is a thrilling adventure as so many surprises will be presented in your path.
Our drive begins early in the morning after breakfast. We travel to Bwindi Impenetrable. We will not miss the opportunity to stop by the Uganda Equator for a picturesque moment and other scenic views. Upon your arrival you will check into your booked safari lodge for dinner.
Wake up in the misty jungle of Bwindi. After our delicious breakfast, we transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before our long awaited encounter with the gentle giants. The hike to the home of the gorillas can be a bit challenging but nothing that requires a lot of fitness either.
Once you get to stand face to face with the Mountain Gorillas it’s all worth it. We will take the time to observe the little ones playing with each other and watch the others groom their friends. Truly a breathtaking experience.
After breakfast we check out of the safari lodge and exit the park heading to Kampala to the airport for our evening flight back home. We will have a stop for lunch along the way and any other stops at your request.
