A perfect way to explore Uganda with savannah parks and primate parks to give you a taste of Uganda’s remarkable diversity. Our tour will start from the home of the gorillas, or as we call them in Uganda, the Gentle Giants. Their home, the Bwindi impenetrable, consists of deep forests in the heart of Uganda. Brace yourself for the best of Uganda and the many great surprises that await.
Our journey will begin early after our breakfast so that we can beat the traffic jam and try to fit in a bit more amazing activities en-route to Bwindi. for instance, we will make a stop at the Uganda Equator for pictures and perhaps an opportunity to grab a few souvenirs for family and friends back home.
Briefing at the park offices after your breakfast. You will be allocated to gorilla tracking groups and given tips to prepare you for what to expect while on a close encounter with the gentle giants. Return from the deep forest to receive your gorilla tracking certificate. Return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation or choose to have a community walk and get close and personal with the local people.
In the morning after breakfast, we check out of the safari lodge, we transfer with our packed lunch to Queen Elizabeth national park, “The Medley of Wonders”. Along the way; we take advantage of the Ishasha sector. Here we may spot the rare tree climbing lions. If lucky, we will get to spot a few before we continue and check into our booked safari lodge. We end the day in an evening game drive.
The crisp morning opens with a game drive to seek out various wild game, a great opportunity for game viewing as the animals tend to be more active in the morning hours. Return from our adventure in the beautiful savannahs to some much needed relaxation before lunch.
Afterwards, you will have a thrilling boat cruise on Kazinga channel to spot the aquatic wild and so much more! If time allows, we will drive through the crater lakes for some scenic viewing before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Check out of the safari lodge after breakfast and exit Queen Elizabeth driving through the scenic crater lakes to Kibale national park. Upon arrival, check into your booked accommodation for an evening of relaxation
After breakfast, we head to the park headquarters where we receive a short briefing into the Chimpanzee tracking activity before we set out into the dense Kibale forest to meet these amazing creatures. Return to a warm delicious lunch at the lodge. With a full belly we are ready to go on a primate walk where we can expect lots of bird sightings with over 138 bird species.
After breakfast, we check out of the safari lodge and begin the journey through the beautiful landscapes of Uganda, heading northwest to Murchison falls. Upon arrival, we check into our booked accommodation for an evening of relaxation.
With a fresh steaming cup of tea or coffee, we will set out for an early morning game drive, a great opportunity for amazing sightings. We return to the lodge for full breakfast and later after lunch, a cruise on the Victoria Nile for aquatic game viewing will usher us into the afternoon and finally, a hike to the top of falls will bring us to the vast rumbles of the powerful Murchison falls.
We will exit the park after check out. Our first stop will be at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a chance to track the endangered Rhinos. We embark on our journey after lunch continuing to Kampala/ Entebbe for drop off.
