Kidepo Valley National Park, Africa’s most authentic wilderness is found in North Uganda and borders Sudan and Kenya in the extreme corner in the Northeast of the country. This park will give you the ultimate Safari experience with its untouched beauty of nature’s gifting comprising of the rolling Savannah grassland and rugged spectacular mountain landscape and so much more! End this fantastic adventure in Uganda’s largest conservation area.
We will begin the trip to Zziwa as early as 6:30am so we can beat the traffic jam. We arrive at Zziwa Rhinos in time for lunch and after lunch set out for an encounter with the Rhinos. Return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation or we may choose to have an evening nature walk.
After your breakfast, we will begin the journey to Kidepo valley national park. We will have a stopover in Gulu for lunch. Upon arrival in Kidepo, we will check into our booked safari lodge and later set out for a cultural encounter with the Karamajongs.
We will have our breakfast in the early hour and immediately set out for an early morning game drive that will wind up in an exciting tour of Kanangorok hot spring where a number animals can be seen roaming around. Including the African Ostrich that can only be seen here in its natural habitat in Uganda. Return to the lodge for some time of relaxation and after lunch we set out yet again for another game drive.
After breakfast we set out to the briefing point where we will get an idea of the activity we are about to embark on. With our packed lunch we embark on the scenic hike that will give us an opportunity to interact with the Ik culture. From the adventurous hike we return to the lodge for dinner.
After breakfast we check out of the safari lodge and embark on the journey to Murchison falls. We will have a few stops in between. Upon arrival to Murchison falls, we check into our booked safari lodge for an evening of relaxation.
Our day will be packed with so many great adventures. We awake to a delicious breakfast and set out for a morning game drive. We return from the depths of the savannahs to a rejuvenating lunch after which we venture out for a cruise on the waters of Victoria Nile, an opportunity that will bring us close to the aquatic wild like Nile crocodiles, Hippos and so much more. We end the day with a hike to the top of the falls.
After breakfast, we check out of the safari lodge, exit the park and start our journey back to Kampala.
